what to expect

Visiting a new church can feel overwhelming, but we want you to feel welcome and at ease. To help you know what to expect, here’s a brief overview of a typical worship service.

SUNDAY Worship

When you join us for a Sunday service, you will experience a simple, Christ-centered worship that follows the teachings of the New Testament. Each Lord’s Day (Acts 20:7, Revelation 1:10), we come together to worship God through:

PRAYER

Our congregation is led in prayer by various men (1 Timothy 2:1-8).

SINGING

The entire congregation comes together to praise God through a cappella singing, just as the early church did in worship (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16). Singing without instruments allows for a pure, uplifting, and beautiful expression of praise, and we hope you find it meaningful as well. Some of our guests join in singing, while others choose to listen and reflect as we worship.

The Lord's Supper (Communion)

Each Sunday, our members partake in the Lord’s Supper, remembering Christ’s sacrifice by eating unleavened bread and drinking the fruit of the vine (Acts 20:7). We take a few quiet moments to reflect on the incredible love of God, who gave His Son for us.

PREACHING

We will hear a Bible-based lesson lasting about 30 minutes (Acts 2:42; Romans 10:14). Most Sundays, our preaching minister delivers the message, though at times, a guest speaker will lead our study.

GIVING

Our members give weekly or monthly to support the work of the church (1 Corinthians 16:2). As our guest, you are not expected or required to contribute.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY

Every Wednesday night is dedicated to our mid-week Bible study, welcoming both church members and guests.

Bible Classes for All Ages

These sessions provide an opportunity to study God’s Word and uplift one another in our daily walk with Him. Each class lasts about 45 minutes.

A Midweek Spiritual Boost

Gathering together for Bible study and praise helps refresh our spirits and strengthen our faith throughout the week. We believe you’ll experience the same encouragement as you join us.

Deepening Faith & Encouragement

In every class, we open the Bible to grow in faith, support one another (Hebrews 10:24-25), and shine our Christian light throughout the week (Matthew 5:16).

We invite you to be part of this uplifting time of study, fellowship, and encouragement!

You can expect us to hold a deep and abiding respect for the inspired Word of God as the sole and complete authority. Because we embrace Scripture as the all-sufficient guide for faith and practice, we do not adhere to human creeds (Galatians 1:8-9; Revelation 22:18-19).
